November product notes
Here’s what Clever’s been working on this past month:
Email Login Instructions
Districts can now email teachers login instructions directly from their dashboard! Under Instant Login Setup, district admins will see an option to distribute login information to teachers:
Admins can then edit the template before sending to their teachers to make sure they include all the necessary information:
Right now, you can’t edit who the email is sent from, so the message and any replies will be tied to the email address of the admin user that sends the message.
Download Shared Data
We wanted to make it easier for districts to check the information they’re sharing with an application, so we added data spreadsheets in the district dashboard.
Districts can download any of the four CSVs they share with an application (schools.csv, students, csv, teachers.csv, and sections.csv) to confirm the information the application has access to:
Teacher Insights
We’ve made it easier for teachers to troubleshoot login issues from their Clever dashboard.
They now have a “Students” option in their navigation bar. Clicking this will let them see the students who have provisioned accounts for the district. So if a student is having login issues, the teacher can see if they’re enrolled and need a password reset or if the student needs to be provisioned to their section.
